Kative Flowers is the trade name of KATIVE FLORICULTURA LTDA, a family business that has been arranging flowers in Teresina, Piauí since 2000.
We opened in April 2000 as a small shop on Av. Gov. Gayoso e Almendra, in the São João neighbourhood, selling cut flowers and a handful of potted plants. Word travelled through weddings. Twenty-five years later we are in the same street, with a nursery of our own and a team that styles events across the city.
What has not changed is the routine: flowers arrive, they are cut and conditioned by hand, and they are arranged the day they go out. We would rather sell you fewer, better flowers than a big arrangement that gives up on the third day.
To make good flowers an ordinary part of life in Teresina — for the celebrations, and for the Tuesdays.
We buy what is at its best and build around it, instead of forcing the same bouquet all year.
If a plant will not survive where you want to put it, we will tell you before you buy it.
Arrangements are made in our shop and events installed by our own team — not subcontracted.
Much of our greenery and our ornamental plants come from our own nursery.
